If you are about 30 and younger, like me...you haven't lived through the actual war times but rather lived the "vietnam hype" times of the eighties. movies like full metal jacket, platoon and apocalypse now to name a few...now, the hype is back in the gaming world...slightly too late but it's here. seems like men of valor will take the crown as the king of nam games but i find that conflict vietnam has a very attractive approach to it's audience which is honest and fun and more enjoyable and even offer more options than valor. buzzing hue choppers over head, rolling stones music in the back and napalms exploding is what one expects in a nam game, maybe i am being too basic but its true. conflict nam feels like it was crafted out of clay and everything (no matter how cartoon like) seems tangible. the fully 3-d rendered helicopters coming to pick you up, the environments and the vehicles you get to drive around, all of it...somehow...artistically and otherwise are more satisfactory than men of valor. call me crazy, thats how i feel. it's a friendly game, like as if your favorite uncle designed it...people say it has flaws, but i find it very,very enjoyable. in the end every game has flaws, like the boredom in halo2 makes me more upset than any problem conflict nam has. i suggest you not pass up on conflict vietnam....take it for a ride and see it for yourself.… Expand

I had some fun with the game for about 40 mins. But then while being forced to order teammates around, my lacky teammate got stuck in the background debris. Unfortunately, there was no other option but to reset the game and have to start at the beginning. I don't know if I'll ever return to conflict - going through that tutorial again is going to be torture.

I have no idea what the guy below me just said, but I'll say this as clear as I can. This game is every bit as fun as the other Conflict games and better in some instances. Jungles look very good, but a bit linear. Controls are like the other games, but a bit better and deeper with the orders menu. A huge amount of vehicles to drive and UNLIKE the other games, they feel like they9;re on the ground not floating. Again graphics are much better than Shellshocks and thisgame should be getting better reviews than it is just like the other Conflict games were reviewed too low by everyone. Multiplayer is as fun as ever. Get this and play it until Men Of Valor hits in 2-3 weeks.… Expand

Loved the two previous titles in the Conflict series however this one doesnt cut the mustard. The shaky gameplay & baffling comabt engine make this a lottery of a game where no tactical advantage can be reached trudging through badly lit & indescernable graphics. Will play this until the end - but it is a frustrating & jittery outing drenched in medocrity.
