  • Summary: For the first time ever in a racing game, players will be able to fuse two cars together on the fly to form a super vehicle with the all-new "clashing" technology. In Crash Tag Team Racing, players can combine their car with an opponent's mid-race to make a super-car equipped with a powerful turret gun. When clashed, players can either get behind the wheel and drive or fire an onboard weapon. Each character has his or her own uniquely deadly 360˚ rotating turret.     But you can't deny that Crash Bandicoot's graphical qualities are one of the best we've seen from a game of this genre.

    All of the absurd weapons, sliding around corners, and destruction players have come to expect from a title such as this are present, but its fun factor wears off fairly fast.

    Although the game is able to provide players with a diverse array of gameplay modes and even some surprisingly heavy platforming elements, they all eventually wear thin. Even so, the game's cohesive sense of humor keeps the game entertaining.

    What they've done is mash together a platform/coin-collecting game with a plodding kart-combat racer, then grafted on some escaped-from-a-cell-phone minigames. It's a Frankensteinian mess.
