  • Summary: Step into the shoes of Dr. Darien Dane or his assistant Victoria Sutton as you investigate the mysterious disappearance of an ancient sacred Egyptian statue from the British Museum. Protected by an evil curse, the statue can cause madness or violent death, raise the dead, and animate diabolical objects. Now it's up to you to find and return the cursed statue to the pyramid where it was left long ago. But beware of your surroundings, for nearly anything can come alive and try to kill you, even the most insignificant of objects. Collapse

  1. An interesting game with a heavy dose of adventure and a moderate amount of action. The action isn't paced at breakneck speed, but it is a lot of fun.
  2. Simply just an average survival-horror type game. The puzzles are rather simple, the items are easy to find, and the game is laid out in a very easy fashion. The only thing that other survival-horror titles should take into consideration is the control system Curse uses.
  3. The combat was overly simplistic, the gameplay was rather linear, and the overall game could be considered short, but that doesn’t take away from the chills and thrills that await anyone who decides to play.
  4. So the story is pretty run-of-the-mill. The same can be said for just about all of this game.

Ok so basically this is a $20 Resident Evil game set in the mid 1800s. If you go into it expecting the norm of a bargain priced title, you39;ll be pleasantly surprised. The graphics are good, the mood and visuals of the game are pretty good as well. All in all its a lot more than I expected and it certainly is a very entertaining game...if you're willing to turn a blind eye to some things. The voice acting is good, the plot is pretty cool, weapons are awesome, targeting system is ...ok but not a problem, just don't go in expecting the best game or the worst and you should have an enjoyable time. I definitely recommend this game for any fans of RE that are looking for a similar title on the XBOX. Cheers. Expand

It offers nothing new but it is a unique game in it's own right. If your a die hard survival horror game then this is worth checking out. Like I said it's nothing new, the fixed camera is still present but it's the story I love about this game. Expand
  3. A bargain bin Resident Evil clone. Not too bad in itself, but basically a mediocre game, with a few frustrating design and asset decisions. It's essentially a linear, fixed camera survival horror, with a basic (but not awful) backstory that takes you through a few quite varied locations, fighting monsters with a sparse collection of weaponry. Navigation is convoluted, possibly in an attempt to hide how linear the game is, and frustrating thanks to the useless map and area layouts. Graphics and audio are mediocre, but passable, and present a consistent feel throughout. You'll get considerably more enjoyment out of this is you employ a walkthrough when unsure of your next objective, and I would give this a 5 or so if played like that- but it doesn't excuse the slow progression without it, and the low payoff you get from a budget title like this.
Worth a look if you've already played all the fantastic survival horrors out there.
