  • Summary: Evil Dead: Regeneration takes over where the film Evil Dead 2 left off. You can play as Ash, who has been committed to an insane asylum where a mad scientist is doing experiments with the Necronomican. With the help of some firepower and your new sidekick, a 3-foot tall "deadite," you can battle the scientist's unholy creations and save civilization. Expand

  1. While there's little challenge in terms of the gameplay, it's a fun romp, boomsticks and all.
  2. The black humor, bad jokes and buckets of blood flying at a rapid fire pace in interactive form will keep fans of the series coming back for more while we're waiting for Hollywood to get its act together.
  3. The action is faithful to the goofy fighting found in the Army of Darkness movie and the game is available for a value price. All this being said, there is an obvious lack of polish and depth, and it won't last more than a few days.
  4. Easily the best game in the Evil Dead video game series (steer away from Hail to the King and Fistfull of Boomstick!). However, this isn't saying much. It has its fair share of flaws, including "lazy" graphics, repetitive gameplay, and a glitch-infested level design.
