  • Summary: Based on the 2005 movie of the same name, Fantastic Four lets you control the team of superheroes known as the Fantastic 4. Each character possesses a unique set of abilities that you can use and combine in the hunt for Doctor Doom. The game includes single-player, cooperative, and two-player versus modes. Expand

  1. The team-based elements are great, calling to mind X-Men Legends. Unfortunately, the game lacks depth and feels pretty linear, making the adventure short lived overall.
  2. In what seems like a profoundly misguided step, four players can't play as the Fantastic Four. [Sept 2005, p.101]
  3. Makes both comic book and film fans happy. There are no problems with presentation, but after a million fights you are willing to give peace a chance. [Sept. 05]
  4. The uninspiring execution made for a run-of-the-mill beat-em-up game with a host of problems, from imprecise controls and a lazy camera to the lackluster presentation.
  5. The curse of movie to video games conversions strikes again, as there's nothing fantastic or memorable about this repetitive and generic actioner.
  6. The game suffers from imprecise controls, a lackluster presentation, a few bugs, and other issues that make it difficult to recommend.
  7. The coop is a nice, but not perfect, feature that not many games have lately, but unfortunately that may not be enough to save this game from its terrible graphics and seriously repetitive gameplay.
