  1. One of the best survival horror games to come out in ages. [Dec 2004, p.181]
  2. Fatal Frame oozes with tension and terror. Mystery lies inside the village, and the atmosphere throughout the game is held together by the graphics and sound.
  3. A great pickup for anyone who enjoys the horror/survival genre but is finding the majority of the recent releases too repetitive. Tecmo offers fans a creative twist that they insist doesn't even belong in the genre all together.
  4. The intriguing storyline, scary setting and unique battle system make for a frightening and memorable experience.

This game was a little easy, but it scared the crap out of me, and that is what I wanted. Best horror game ever.
