  • Summary: Inspired by the 1963 movie of the same name, From Russia with Love lets you play as the classic James Bond as portrayed by Sean Connery. You can drive in classic cars and use upgradeable weapons and gadgetry to complete the game's nonlinear missions. From Russia with Love also lets you invest in and upgrade your character to customize his performance. Expand

  1. The levels were well thought out and most have more than one way through them which is refreshing to see.
  2. A fun game that does a really good job of making you feel as if you are taking part in a classic-era Bond film. Unfortunately, the overall linearity and lack of a significant multiplayer mode ensures that this is a game that will be played through once, and then left on the shelf.
  3. Things get stale rather quickly, largely in part to the game's propensity to confining players to a single path through the campaign. The multiplayer doesn't help things along very much.
  4. It's harmless mass-market entertainment; the kind that any discerning gamer should already know to leave well alone. [Christmas 2005, p.116]

Good first level, takes you right into it but doesn't quite match Everything or Nothing. Far better than GoldenEye: Rogue Agent though!

1st of all let me just say that I'd rate Nightfire and Everything Or Nothing as both 9/10 (Rogue Agent much much lower, but that's another story). This game plays like Everything or Nothing, evcept not as fun. It does look good, and the connery bond is an excellent one, but the levels just aren't well designed. It's like someone trying to make a deadline created them. Expand
