Smart new theory kicks a dying genre in the butt and makes for a unique single-player and terrific two-player game.
  2. If only Goblin Commander's visuals matched the majesty of its design... I absolutely love it, though. [Dec 2003, p.83]
  3. It is real-time and parts of it are strategy but it is not a real-time strategy game. While a decent first attempt into the genre for the Xbox, there's obviously plenty of room for improvement.
  4. The severe lack of duration, difficulty, and a decent multiplayer mode hamper the value you'll get out of a purchase.

Hands down the best RTS that has come out for the consoles... period. It's an absolute blast to play. Of course, it is not a PC RTS, and doesn't seem like it was ever intedned to be. People that have given this game a bad review completely missed the point. It's an action oriented RTS designed for the consoles... and it's good! Expand
