It's nothing more than Red Dead Revolver running on the open Tony Hawk's Smerican Wasteland engine. It's boring is what I'm getting at, and it looks as bad as the Tony Hawk games to boot. Stay away unless you want to play a mediocre game with that has the absolute most unthoughtout name ever.

Good graphics and voice acting. Too short and the game wasn't challenging enough.

The best thing about this game is the originality...A Clint Eastwood type western shooter. I can only think of one other western Ive played. It starts off being a lot of fun, with an interesting story, with easy to learn controls. After midpoint though, it starts to lose most of its charm and the missions become a little monotonous and chore-like. Overall a pretty fun game. Kept my interest from beginning to end. Interesting characters and a pretty good storyline. Graphics where above average. Major complaint was that the game was too short and I usually don't mind that, but this is the shortest game i have played to date. There are several side missions you can do to extend the game, but most are uninspired and repetative. Overall a pretty fun game. Kept my interest from beginning to end. Worth buying used (probably could rent it as I easily finished it in a week). Expand

This is a fun game with a great story, but its a short game. I beet the game 100% in 2 days (on hard dificulty), after you finish it there is really nothing to do. With the Quickdraw attack in the game it is to easy to kill every enemy on the screen, its cheep, but fun to use. The game has a few problems, like enemies talking or telling stories after there dead and seeing ware a enemy is by his shadow because the shadow go's through some walls. Alot of the side quests were very easy and a little bit pointless. Boss battles were anoying, usheally they kill you in 2 hits and yet for some reason 25 headshots dosnt kill them. Play the game on hard or you'll beet it to fast. Rent it. Expand

Born on the Playstation 2, and it looks it. Muddy Textures, low detail. The large gameworld is technically impressive though.
  2. The majority of the game is one long gunfight, shifting between a traditional free-looking aim to lock-on, slow-mo shooting. It's good stuff, if you don't mind your foes acting like targets in a carnival game.

If you want to compare GUN to GTA, it's fair to say that it doesn't reach the level of enjoyment found in the GTA games mainly because the missions push you forward a little too much and you don't get the chance to explore as much as you might want to do.
