  • Summary: Harry, Ron, and Hermione are back in Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire, a game based on J.K. Rowling's fourth book. The game follows Harry, the wizard-in-training, as he confronts a fire-breathing dragon, rescues friends from the icy depths of the Black Lake, and navigates the twisting corridors of a maze. As Harry, Ron, or Hermione, you can cast a variety of spells in both single-player and cooperative modes. Expand

  1. The game changes a few of the things Harry fans have come to expect from the games, and though aimed at a younger audience, Harry fans will find a lot to like in the game.
  2. Series fans will find a lot to love in this title, which offers an attractive, immersive, and most importantly, fun excursion into the world of J.K. Rowling's imaginative works.
  3. I would really like to play this game with its ability to have three live players. I believe that will hurdle the fun a great deal.
  4. Nothing more than a bunch of minigames that suffer from an awkward camera system. [Dec 2005]
  5. Speaking of game length, don't be surprised if you can beat this one in a few hours.
  6. Somewhat annoyingly, the game often requires you to tackle each level a multiple number of times in order to collect items such as shields before the next area is unlocked.
  7. An unbelievably lazy title that just feels cheap. It has poor gameplay that the target audience will just fall asleep at, which only adds to the infuriating realisation that it will still sell thanks to the lightning scarred teen's name.

This game is god awful, one of the worst games i have ever played. The first 3 Harry Potter games are classics but then this game came out and destroyed the Harry Potter Game franchise. Collapse

Actually really boring. Its poorly broken up into sections when it would have been should you have been able to explore the world and not just parts of it. Decent graphics that feature little to no variety and no replay value at all. Also you have to be perfect on every level in order to unlock the next level - That sucks. Expand

Level design is uninspired. Gameplay/puzzles are stale and lack any real quality design elements. Why can't they let the player instantly switch between playable characters like so many other multi-character games? Poor decision on their part. Expand
