As Harry Potter, you will hone your magical skills and advance through three terms of study during Harry's first year at Hogwarts. Each term will challenge you to meet a number of objectives, such as collecting and mixing potions with Professor Snape or piloting a flying broom through the Forbidden Forest in search of Neville Longbottom's Remembrall.   1. The gameplay borrows heavily from the Zelda games and it works to great effect here. The controls are simple and easily mastered, never getting in the way of the gamer’s enjoyment of the game.
  2. The best accolade Philosopher's Stone can receive is that it makes the events of the first story (published way back in the twentieth century) seem fresh for the fans, while hiding nothing from the uninitiated.

    It's hard to even say what's good about the game, because every attempt to get at the fun parts is like swimming to shore with lead weights on both feet.
