  1. What can really bring a third person action game down quicker than a roundhouse to the back of the head is a bad camera that makes it difficult or impossible to keep track of your placement within the game, and MR has one of the worst cameras I’ve seen in a while.
  2. An extremely unbalanced game... forgettable.
  3. Disastrously shallow... The minority here is the few fans who will actually finish the game. [10 Jan 2003, p.77]
  4. This title's biggest problem is its lack of ambition. [Feb 2003, p.105]
  5. There really isn't much here beyond a half-decent fighting engine and the entertaining rag-doll physics.
  6. So the game doesn't have any real characters at all, the graphics are nothing special, and the story actually gets in the way of the gameplay... Now if someone would just make a game where these wonderful play mechanics made some sort of logical sense, we'd be cooking with gas.

The Fun Factor suffers because of repetitive gameplay and unbalanced weapons and power-ups.
  8. Uneven presentation and its incongruence with the spirit of the movie make it just another bad licensed-property video game.
  9. 39
Remedial action with faint glimmers of fun, wiped out by tedious and insipid gameplay.
  10. A poorly translated movie-to-game title that offers very little in challenging levels and what little fun there is here is not nearly enough.
  11. The combat system is frustrating and delivers very little fun after a couple of hours.
  12. Everybody runs. In the case of the lackluster 3D-adventure-cum-beat-em-up Minority Report, rest assured, they're not running to the videogame store. [Feb 2003, p.71]
  13. 54
A weak story and overall mediocre level design.
  14. We forsee you buying this game, enjoying it at first, getting frustrated at certain parts, then putting it on your shelf after you’re done and rarely playing it again.
  15. The seriously limited engine and weird flow between levels make what could have been a great game, just an average one. Too bad. [Feb 2003, p.73]
  16. Better than "Spiderman," but it still could have been better." [Jan 2003, p.58]
  17. There simply isn't enough in terms of innovation, subtlety or charm in this game for it to be considered worthy of spending £40 on.
  18. Joins the ranks of rushed movie-to-game conversions, with drab visuals, repetitive gameplay, and a lack of style. [Feb/Mar 2003, p.85]

This is a truly dreadful game. As with the film the premise is that you must flee from your fellow pre-crime officers who are seeking to catch you for a murder that you are yet to commit. The irony is that in doing so you kill dozens of them in the process.... hmm slight plot hole surely... The gameplay is lame, the controls awkward and the graphics nothing to write home about. Basically, don't bother with this game... Full Review »

I think it is the best action game ever made. I can recommend this game to anyone with a sense of gaming adventure.
