  • Summary: NFL Blitz Pro is an 11-on-11 licensed smash-mouth football videogame experience, delivering a new and sophisticated online feature set combined with its blend of lightning-fast, adrenaline-style gameplay. NFL Blitz has been reinvented, without leaving behind the edginess of the previous games in the series. For the first time, NFL Blitz Pro will showcase authentic 11-on-11 gameplay with realistic rules, features, and online play. New features also include a new Franchise mode, a reworked running game, and an improved AI. Expand

  1. Blitz Pro walks a fine line between serious sim and classic Blitz action and maintains a perfect balance from start to finish.

The play dynamic is still fierce, there are tons of extra modes and fantasy teams to unlock. It's still a great two-player game, and the slightly better single player experience should make most fans of the series happy.
  3. The new formula succeeds partially, but football maniacs are advised to look elsewhere for a more satisfying gridiron experience. [Mar 2004, p.80]
  4. While I wouldn’t exactly classify NFL Blitz Pro as a complete disaster, no question, it has taken a turn for the worse. Buy it only if you have to have every Blitz game ever made.

This game is cool and all but it needs to have cheats like infinite credits or infinite turbo.

I love the Blitz series, but really think it was a mistake to move towards realism. The field feels way too crowded with the regulation # of players. Included here are some great new bonus modes too. Expand
