How can anyone justify dropping $50 on a ninja game with a broken camera, un uber weapon that makes most of the game a cakewalk, some twitchy control and only a so-so presentation? I certainly can't.
-
If the nausea-inducing camera doesn't kill your patience, the wacky wall-running and platform-leaping sections will. [May 2005, p.125]
-
40A comedy of errors, but without the humor. From the camera to the movement to the over-powered tetsugen to the uninspired nature of pretty much everything this game disappoints in so many different ways.
-
40Yet the biggest sticking point is the camera, which has trouble remaining steady in tight spots or in close encounters, making many sequences needlessly frustrating.
-
40It has some good ideas but they're overthrown by a particular lack of anything that stands out, aside from the herky-jerky camera and the occasional booty shots.
-
A miserable piece of digital vomit. [Apr 2005, p.120]
-
At $50, this game is a total joke.
-
30A poor Tenchu wannabe that simply fails to deliver enjoyment. We played it because we had to - you don't. [May 2005, p.96]
-
An all-killing, all-leaping game in which you can neither kill nor leap...that truly does spell the end of honor for this Ninja. [Apr 2005, p.87]
-
30There is only one game where I've ever skipped areas I wanted to explore due to not wanting to deal with the camera. This is it.

IliyunH.2The games camera is what killed it for me. Not worth the $50 bucks.
