  1. The graphics aren't fabulous, and the camera angle & constant backtracking tend to be a bit tedious. However, the authenticity of Scobby-Doo and the gang of Mystery, Inc. makes it worth at least at glance.
  2. Level design is well done, giving players the illusion of a non-linear world while deftly guiding them down a path. Well-placed hints ensure that Scooby never gets stuck. [Nov 2003, p.130]
  3. If someone were looking for a platforming action game, there are better ones out there. If someone were looking for a Scooby-Doo game, there aren't.

Does an admirable job of using the Scooby license to its full potential. [Oct 2003, p.56]
  5. A solid, if standard platformer if you have some appreciation for Scooby-Doo or if you're looking for a game for the kids.
  6. The game does a good job of capturing the look of Scooby Doo, but has none of its spirit.
  7. The biggest disappointment concerning Scooby Doo! Night of 100 Frights, is that it doesn't look or play any differently on the Xbox than it did on the PS2 version which was released more than a year ago.

The gameplay isn't super great, but they really captured the show here. I would seriously recommend this to a Scooby fan.
