  • Summary: SeaBlade is just too light on action, production quality, and overall gameplay to make it a worthwhile purchase.

  1. Best played in small doses. Even the multi-player modes won't sustain your interest for long.
  2. A bland dish indeed, whipped up by chefs who were asleep, or perhaps dead, when lessons on taste and flavor were being taught. [Feb 2003, p.154]
  3. Just too light on action, production quality, and overall gameplay to make it a worthwhile purchase.
  4. SeaBlade does have a few solid moments. Sadly, they are few and far between. [Dec 2002, p.102]

The game is a little loose and the level variation isn't that great, but the multiplayer makes for a good party game of blood wake tired friends. A Live feature and some minor tweaks could make another seablade much better. Expand

As if this game couldn't get any worse. The concept of a air-sea mech game was cool, but it failed to deliver in many ways. The story is non-existent, graphics were N64 caliber, and the sound of guns sounded like plastic. Many should stay away from this game, but it's old anyways, who cares? Expand

i honestly think this is the worst game i've ever played. j-pop is waning, and this is proof.
