There really isn't much that I can find with the game that is wrong, or even remotely wrong, other than Eddie. There isn't a reason to have hair that big and that orange in any type of game.
-
It lacks the initial "grab" that the original had, but after a couple of courses, you're hooked on this new drug, and you won't want to stop.
-
92SSX Tricky has amazing graphics, hands down. There arent any weather effects in the game, but thatll hardly be noticed with the amazing level design and diverse textured backgrounds.
-
90There's enough newness in Tricky --the Uber Tricks and Rivalry system-- to differentiate it from it's predecessor but still make the game work as a whole. So if you played it to death or missed SSX on the PS2, on Xbox you're getting the best version possible.
-
It is the best version around, but its because the game is just so much fun that people should pick this one up. If youve own the PS2 version or have played it before, theres not much point.
-
Trickys play mechanics hit you like an avalanche instantly transforming everyone into snowboarding addicts. [Feb 2002, p.92]
-
Comes close to Pure Gaming Joy.
-
90SSX is special. And the reason for that is the incredible replayability and the pure game design it offers.
-
90Of the three, this version of Tricky has the best controls and graphics. That makes this the best version available.
-
90A truly solid entertainment package with a wide variety of characters, cool gameplay, and a host of visual and audio candy.
-
90A fantastic game.
-
90Taking advantage of the space on that the DVD allows you to have, theres a lot of information that can be viewed in terms of the making of the game. Youll see some famous stars such as Oliver Platt and David Arquette talk about lending their voices to the game.
-
88Looks slightly better than the PS2 and GameCube versions of the game, but its unstable frame rates can occasionally hamper the gameplay experience...If you have a choice, the PS2 version is still recommended.
-
The environments, characters and challenges all come together to form an excellent game which almost anyone will enjoy to play.
-
The finely tuned play mechanics are what make the game so astonishingly fun to play. [Mar 2002, p.68]
