If you're looking for a playable version of the classic 1967 episode, “Mirror Mirror”, then Shattered Universe is the game for you. However, if you’re merely looking for a good time with the Star Trek Franchise then you would probably be better served to rent Star Trek IV on DVD.
  2. This is a waste of money on the developers part to whack a mixture of poorly thought out ideas, bad visuals and sound, in the hope that a few people will somehow be tricked into buying it.
  3. 46
It contains nothing special and brings nothing new to the genre, meaning it falls below the other better Combat Flight Simulators out there.
  4. This concept itself obviously isn't a terribly original one, and Shattered Universe's gameplay mechanics are equally pedestrian in design, hopelessly trying to mirror bigger, better space combat games.

While the game my be a bit repetitive, it's Star Trek. Shooting at other Federation ships is a blast. No pun intended. If you a Star Trek fan buy the game. If you just want to shoot some stuff and have some quick fun, rent it. Expand

It's definitely a rental. Not worth shelling out the cash to buy it. I'm a hardcore Star Trek fan but this game is a frustrating joke. Only thing that got me to pick it up was genre. Expand

Clunky, outdated looking cinema's, inane gameplay and a horrible 'pulsing light' in the background of space that gave me a migraine after about 10mins of play. AVOID. Expand
