  1. A graphically slick martial arts game that’s head-and-bloody-shoulders above the competition for the visible damage you can inflict on opponents.
  2. The best fighting game currently out for the Xbox.
  3. Cheat Code Central
The bottom line on this game is not simple. The game takes risks and tries things never before done in any fighting game.

The grabs are devastating, the Chi attacks look cool, and the strategy involved is compelling. Definitely worth your $50.
  5. This is the single best fighting game for your Xbox and definitely makes the top-5 list of best fighters of all time.
  6. But what better way to show off the extravagantly idealized female form than with high kicks and kung fu-style stretches? Watching them pee sitting down would just interrupt the action, which is tremendous.
  7. The fights are long and challenging, and the gameplay has an appeal all its own. With plenty of features, great graphics and sound and a surprisingly well-developed backdrop, Tao Feng's unique gameplay is a welcome step in the right direction.

Miles better than "Kakuto Chojin," but it’s still a few short steps behind "Dead or Alive 3" and "Mortal Kombat: Deadly Alliance."
  9. 80
A gorgeously slower-paced fighting game with an emphasis on combos and strategy over frantic button mashing... A refreshing change of pace, to be sure.
  10. The storyline and backgrounds for the characters are very deep for a fighting game, which is an advantage of the small roster.
  11. A clunky fighting system which doesn’t seem to rely on tactics at all and camera angles that make gameplay at times both hard to master and frustrating to endure, hamstring what could have been a fantastic game.

I've played about 250 xbox games, and would rate this as the worst out of all 250.

The game play is light years beyond frusturating, only to be better described as noobful. Figthing games always have a hard time with re-playablility, and this game is a true testiment to this fact. After a few quick rounds with each character just to see what they look like and what their chi attacks are, I hardly totaled up about 3 hours towards game play for this title. As far as I'm concerned, you can only knock somebody out over and over again so many times. So I guess without a fatality type of move as seen in the Mortal Kombat series, the fights get extremely repetitive and are not worth the effort of sitting on your couch and staring at the disproportionate characters in the game over. Like mentioned earlier, nice try Tobias, it's better than what what my two pre-teen neices and I could throw together, but doesn't even begin to compare to Mortal Kombat. Full Review »
