  1. The dialog is well acted and quite humorous. The music is perfect for this game and maintains a consistently light and upbeat mood. It's hard to be in a bad mood when you're in Thrillville.
  2. Probably doesn't have the depth to give it the long legs of other titles in the genre. [Dec 2006, p.130]
  3. It may not be the most open ended theme park on the planet, but it's full of different ways to have fun, and that's what matters most. Buy the ticket, and take the ride.
  4. Thanks to its rock-solid execution, Thrillville delivers an enjoyable batch of minigames in a lighthearted theme park environment.
  5. Getting used to the controls for this game might take a little bit, but once you do and see everything in action you will really enjoy all that this game has to offer.

Greatness is within Thrillville's grasp, but it doesn't push it all the way through.

Aimed at pre-teens--some overly cutesy characters and patronizing narration make it a little too cloying for grown-up gamers--Thrillville hits its marks well on most fronts. [Jan. 2007, p.75]
  8. Thrillville is not for everyone, but it is perfect for those gamers that always wanted to try a simulation but were intimidated by PC keyboard overlays and Excel-like charts of data.
  9. Talking with the guests is surprisingly engrossing. The dialogue options include an arsenal of cheap compliments and weird factoids, and the responses are often surprising.
  10. It offers gamers a taste of just about every gaming genre out there and even finds a way to bundle them together and present them along with a light-hearted story.

Essentially a Roller Coaster Tycoon ripoff. Sorry, an easier Roller Coaster Tycoon ripoff. Still fun to be had, though. Definitely loses itsEssentially a Roller Coaster Tycoon ripoff.
