  • Summary: Throw a cat, mouse, and more than 75 weapons in the same room and you're sure to have a war. Tom & Jerry: War of the Whiskers lets you choose from nine different characters, including Jerry the mouse and his feline nemesis Tom. You then duke it out in 11 destructible environments--battlefields which range from a twisted laboratory to an unstable construction site. Each character has their own strengths, weaknesses, and moves, but skillful use of weaponry can quickly turn a match in one's favor. Expand

  1. A good example of how to properly bring a cartoon that has violence as its main focus to a console; keep it simple, keep it fast paced, keep it for the kids and the kids-at-heart.
  2. Beyond the lame characters and infantile gameplay, Whiskers' trapping aren't half bad. [Mar 2004, p.95]

I agree with the last voter - this is an excellent game for young children. My son, aged 4, loves it and i have to say some of the funny moments (like when the water on the kitchen floor freezes and if your on it, you become a icecube) are great. I highly recommend this to parents of young gamers. Expand

This game is obviously directed towards the younger croud. I dont play it but my 4 1/2 yr old surely does (A lot). She laughs consistantly throughout the game more so than any other game. I actually have to stop her from playing as she could play for hours! This game is sure to please the younger croud. The adults will be entertained but mostly from watching their kids get a kick out of this game! Expand

This is sorta a poor man's smash bros. It seems way too simple at 1st but has some hidden depth. It's sound, animation, graphics, options and modes are lacking though, which is the exact opposite of smash bros. Expand
