Everything from the official team rosters to the detailed fields and even to the smoke bombs set off in the grandstands at Wembley Stadium keep your head in the game.
  2. Excellent AI and great control mechanics make UEFA Euro 2004 the game every soccer fan hoped it would be. It's exciting and very entertaining for long play periods.
  3. UEFA Euro 2004 might have only a fraction of the teams and features found in this year's FIFA offering, but the gameplay and options it offers are actually sufficiently different from those found in FIFA 2004 to make it a worthwhile purchase.
  4. Fanatical soccer fans who really missed the European tourney mode in "FIFA 2004" may want to pick this game up..."FIFA 2005" is slated to support Live, which makes the purchase a UEFA Euro 2004 that much harder to justify.

Fellow gamers, It would be a welcome idea to hold your judgment solely based on the exclusion of XBOX LIVE. XBOX LIVE, contrary to popular opinion, does not make or break a game. You are supposed to submit a review based on overall gameplay, graphics, audio, and presentation. In addition, you should reserve judgment until you have actually played the game. Anyway, UEFA EURO 2004 is an improved addition of FIFA 2004 in all departments. EA Canada has added the necessary elements missing in FIFA 2004, including weather specific conditions, more special moves, improved AI response, realism and overall presentation. It is also nice to see Motson and Mccoist back in the booth for this game. Thanks for the consideration, Avid gamer. Expand

Plays like the game should play. if you like the passing game, keeping it on the floor no problem. Even the old blackburn style of punting it up the field to the forwards works to a point. And if you have a star player give them the ball as much as you can as they make a huge difference with shooting, dribberling etr to the game, just like the real thing. Not quiet as could as pes3 but its getting closer. As far as no online play, tuff gets ye mates round have a few drinks is even better. Expand
