  1. The controls are nearly perfect. I have never played a driving game with such precise controls before.

The only thing that really hurt the game was the lack of options and multiplayer functions.
  3. It's loaded with special effects and the vehicles all handle very responsively (crucial for a good driving game). If you can live with the fact that you won't be playing it for months then this is well worth looking into.
  4. Through what I assume is some kind of mystical voodoo magic, the game cleanly details every frame of a 100-mph car chase without batting an eye. [Apr 2002, p.144]
  5. Visually, it is a stunning achievement that aside from a few frame rate issues presents some of the best graphics we've yet seen in the genre as a whole. Outside of the visuals, though, no one element of this title really stands out as an amazing aspect.
  6. I don't know where all the hype came from, but Wreckless doesn't live up to it.
  7. To be honest, if the graphics were anything less, gamers would put this game down in a heartbeat.

Being a huge fan of all driving games, I found Wreckless to be one of the great games not to miss. It has that same appeal as the GT series. It can be better, but not by much. Expand

Great graphics, great physics, fun game overall, although one or 2 missions are a bit frustrating.

This game just pain sucks. Sometimes it's a cakewalk, other times you can be totally frustrated. Some people complained that Bloodwake This game just pain sucks. Sometimes it's a cakewalk, other times you can be totally frustrated. Some people complained that Bloodwake was shallow. Bloodwake is like Halo compared to Wreckless. Wreckless gives shallow a new definition. It's just not fun. I gave it a one for the graphics. Expand
