If you have friends, preferably four friends who everyone else can see, you should go buy this game.

The cube version has had an interface overhaul and great new multiplayer modes, but it’s basically the same game as the GBA version...This game is all about fun and pure gameplay.

Its simple, old-school game mechanics give the game a nostalgic feel, while the humor adds hilarious twists. [June 2004, p.119]

It's not going to take you long to open up all the modes, and you might tire of the microgames once you've played them a few times, but trust us when we say it's a worthy investment.

The best part about the Gamecube version is it's multiplayer support. Instead of just mashing buttons by yourself you can do it with up to four players.

It is one of the few games that practically requires friends. Without friends to play with, the game is little more than a port of the GBA version, "Wario Ware Inc.: Mega Microgame$." [JPN Import]

Wario Ware is still Wario Ware, and whether you call it "Mega Microgames" or "Mega Party Games," you're still getting a GBA game at a GBA price. But it's one of the best GBA games available, and it works extremely well in a party atmosphere.

The fact that the vast majority of mini-games in this GameCube title heralds from the GBA is a huge disappointment. But even if you haven't played the GBA game, know that the single-player setup that worked so beautifully on the Game Boy Advance doesn't translate well to the GameCube.

The fact remains that more micro-games could have been added – far more. Yet Nintendo opted out, choosing instead to concentrate on a multiplayer aspect. While this facet of the game is entertaining and helps make this a better purchase, it still feels like a shameless cash-in on what was a truly innovated and wonderful game.

It's rather disappointing how little this game has changed compared to its handheld cousin - all the minigames are identical to the GBA version, right down to the graphics and sound. [May 2004, p.55]

Overall, the single-player mode lacks the charm of the portable edition, and, especially for those new to the series, the multiplayer can't compete with the welcoming embrace that the "Mario Party" series is known for. [May 2004, p.68]

The Gamecube version presents the microgames as the kitschy things they are by placing them on a multiplayer pedestal. Sitting on a sofa with friends, when it's not apparent what you're supposed to do, a certain kind of unique frustration arises. [JPN Import]

How many GBA to console ports can you name? Me neither. This is definitely one and it shows. But despite the somewhat rushed presentation which tries unsuccessfully to combine new graphics and menus with those of 32-bit system, this is still one heck of a fun game - with a four-player mode to boot.

While the brevity of games would seem to cater to those on Ritalin, the truth of the matter is you can never relax, which is a big part of the appeal. WarioWare’s challenge doesn’t necessarily lie in the task itself, but in doing it while under duress.

Daniel M. gave it a 9:
The best multiplayer game bar worms.

Wouter B. gave it a 9:
The single player doesn't offer a lot more than the gba-version did, but if you don;t have the portable equivalent, it's very entertaining. The multiplayer is really awesome. Might be simplistic and all, but it really is very, very much fun. And it has a little price. Where are you waiting for?

Ryan G. gave it a 6:
It's ok it's only good for parties,If you're playing this for the 1 player and already have the GBA version you may want to pass.

Evil Furby as Wario gave it a 10:
Very intresting. How fast can you raise the flag? I did it 191 times, and that's really fast! Winning a multi-player game? Prepare for Level 3! Nice sequel to WarioWare Mega Microgame$! This ROCKS! Maybe Furby will sign up for employee of WarioWare Inc in the future...

Ryan M. gave it a 9:
Great gba game, but the gamecube version has nothing really new to offer. It does have mutiplayer, but you can't have fun forever. I think that Wario ware Inc... is better on the go, then at your couch. I really love the game boy version, but the gamecube version brings nothing new to the table of innovation like the first did.

Derek G. gave it a 9:
This game is like an acid trip gone very...right. Dude, seriously, if you have friends over, at first they will look at it like "What?" But a few minutes with the controller and all will be addicted.

Vikram M. gave it a 10:
I played this game at a friends house and it was awesome. When I first heard of it I thought it might do okay, but not great. Well, so it seems that this game was the bomb! The mini-games were so much fun and it is perfect for like sleepover parties because this game is perfect for four player. It only took like six minutes to figure out most of the games and the GREAT thing about this is that what Nintendo does best is make the game ADDICTING! I could not stop playing at my friends house. Great game, not a waste of cash!
