It does such a wonderful job of pulling you into the Bond world and you could almost say this game is a movie and at times I had thought to myself that very idea.

It’s difficult to complain at length about any particular gripe in the face of truly spectacular levels, innovative gameplay and almost obscenely high production values. For the first time in years, "Goldeneye" has a little competition.

They haven't attempted to evolve the genre too much further, but the amount of polish, style and thought that has gone into the gameplay design and dynamics really shines through and this is a classily executed game that borrows from the elite of the modern industry and does everything with real panache.

It's a great feeling seeing something you shoot explode into tons of little chunks (which looks similar to when buildings explode in "Return of the King" -- another EA blockbuster title), and some of the racing scenes define the word "epic."

OK so it's not exactly packed with originality neither will it take you weeks to complete but it's loads of fun and after all isn't that what's important? Put simply, it's quite possibly the best Bond game yet as far as its overall 'Bondness' goes.

With just as many levels where you'll pray for it to be over than where you're actually having fun, the game turns out to be a mixture of styles that don't meld together as solidly as they should, as well as having several frustrating joypad-throwing moments and often demanding extraordinary feats of memory from the player. [Mar 2004, p.114]

It's perhaps because the title benefits from such a high production spend … that the average design and execution becomes more pronounced. [Mar 2004, p.101]

Ryan K. gave it a10:
"EVERYTHING OR NOTHING" is the best 007 game with explosive controls, riveting car/chase sequences and enough dialogue to charm non-fans of the action-hero and this is what you call dynamite-action!!!

Uter gave it an 8:
Multiplayer and aiming are very poorly done. But the single player is fun, and has high production value. Nightfire is a better game though.

Dennis van T. gave it a 10:
Mastergame.

Professor Frink gave it an 8:
This easily outstrips all the other disappointing 007 games (cough...ahem...agent under fire...cough..). For some reason though, I always get the feeling that the missions are too short, but that may just be me. I'm glad that EA has finally stopped making the fancy looking crappy excuse for gadgets and gave you just what you need. One criticism I would have to be the helicopter level (lv. 6?), that level sucks and the car level after The Ruined Tower, the time limit just isn't that fun. Still, excellent game.

Devon N. gave it a 9:
This game rocks! EA has done an EXCELLENT job witht eh 3rd person perspective. The storyline, gameplay, graphics, voice acting, everything is great!

Joe El K. gave it a 10:
It Rocks!!!!!!!
