GameSpot
Too simplistic for fans of the strategic military genre, and too slow and complex for anyone looking for a high intensity shooter.

The realism and tactical aspects are extremely limited in most areas and slammed together with more action-oriented missions.

A pretty weak entry from Ripcord, Spec Ops II won't overly offend or overly excite anyone.
DC Swirl
Does too many things right... but unfortunately buries them underneath some pretty piss-poor flaws (crummy graphics, insane difficulty, awkward control, unrewarding non-existent learning curve, etc.).

You want fast pretty exciting adventure, get TIMESPLITTERS. SPECOPS is a military simulation game, says so on the box. It very accurately replicates what soldiers go through. I like how I can stake out a subject and kill em two hours later and the guy won't know I love it. You can't just throw grenades you must take it out your pocket, literally pull the pin , aim it, and throw. It's too easy to just press grenade and BOOM. Besides hardcore killers appreciate the realism and challenge of simulated assasinations I LOVE IT. NYC
