Think of it as a time capsule of sorts, and a lesson in just how far hardware has progressed over a few short years.

A deliberately, paced adventure, Dino Crisis nicely fits the bill; others will be more satisfied with any of the "Resident Evil" series.

Both games are directly targeted at the budget level, and are steals for gamers that have never owned the PlayStation versions, or just never had the chance to really get into either one.
Hot Games
A decent job of reskinning the old PlayStation version with new Dreamcast graphics, the game is still dark and moody, with the action well spaced out between the tense situations.

Dino Crisis is essentially "Resident Evil" with dirty great lizards instead of rotting zombies, it's still atmospheric and cinematic and it's still a bloody good survival horror romp.

You can look past the aged graphics, there is a great survival horror title here to be had.

The graphics have been tightened a bit to rival the PC version's and... well, that's about it.
IGN
I can whole-heartedly recommend this game to Dreamcast fans who have never played the game... just don't expect any huge bragging rights over those PlayStation owners.

Fails to take advantage of the Dreamcast hardware, resulting in a game that is structurally sound but visually average by Dreamcast standards.

Still contains all the white-knuckle, suspense-filled gameplay that made the PlayStation version so great. Don't go in expecting something extraordinary or new, because you won't find it here.
Happy Puppy
It's got scary atmosphere, decent graphics, excellent sound, great dinosaur enemies, ominous locales, and plenty to do. If you've already played through the PlayStation version, there's little reason to run out to get the Dreamcast rendition.

Regina is one tough chick (a poster girl for the fictitious 'EuroAsia' of videogame and anime lore), but doesn't have the 'deer caught in the headlight' charm of Claire Redfield or Jill Valentine.

Odino gave it a 9:
This game is pretty good, at least it was still difficult with sometimes trying to scrape together a few darts to beat those nasty funny-colored velociraptors, the story is ok too, I think it's better than the sequel(s)
Robert D. gave it a 10:
This game kicks a*s every step is scarrier than the last until some dinosaur jumps at you then your toast.
Arran K. gave it a 10:
Can anyone really knock this game? It kicks just about every @$$ going!!
