Ready for your ol' friend the top-down shooter? This one, like its predecessor, is anchored around the reflect force weopon (also in "Mars Matrix") which fires your enemies artillery right back at 'em.

Planet Dreamcast

Giga Wing 2 takes pride in the details. With a higher resolution and an impressive 3D engine, the graphics look much sharper than any shooter on the Dreamcast console.

Da Gameboyz

A kick ass looking shooter. Unfortunately the length of the game combined with the unlimited continues makes it a short experience.

Game Revolution

A good game. For a mere $20, you get plenty of mindless old-school fun, albeit for a relatively short time.

GameShark

Besides the graphics, Giga Wing 2 is also a lot easier than the first one, and a hell of a lot easier than "Mars Matrix." This is by no means a bad thing.

Happy Puppy

I actually think GigaWing 2 is a great game in many ways, but it is so short it makes even the super-low $20 price tag look steep.

GameSpot

You'd be hard-pressed to find a more visually impressive shooter on the Dreamcast, and the game is highly playable to boot.

AllDreamcast

At a bargain price of only $19.99 US, you won't be disappointed, at least not with the graphics. You won't have any complaints with the soundtrack either, as each stage has its own unique, fully orchestrated musical score. The game's length and replay value are another story though.

Hot Games

Just too easy, too short, and too busy visually. It’s initially quite an impressive looking and sounding game, but you know the saying about looks being deceiving.

DC Swirl

Too short and unpolished, but a hell of a way for Capcom to leave the genre on a high note in a dead system clamoring for more of them.

BEST!!!

Very good shooter, and you can actually beat it! Most other games like these are to hard to beat and you haveto play things over and over again.. well.. not in this game! You just continue where you dies and leave all your old troubles behind you, making you ready to face the new troubles and challanges that await! The graphics are a bit dated but still look pretty good, maybe a bit to colorful for my taste, but thats okay, just turn down the color on your tv and you're set to go!

Jay Z. gave it a 10:
Cool!

Joel L. gave it a 4:
Graphics are pretty good, but can tend to be bland. The thing that ruins the game is the continue system. If you die, you just respawn in the same spot, and since there are unlimited continues, there is absolutely no incentive to try and survive. If the game didn't have unlimited continues, it would get twice the score, but there is no difficulty factor whatsoever, and no reason to come back after you win. The $6 I spent felt like a waste. It could have been so good.
