IGN
One of the coolest Dreamcast games to date. Excellent challenges, nice visuals, and a surplus of bonus modes are contained within Typing but most of all, Smilebit has given Dreamcast maniacs something truly unique in making typing fun.

Move over, Mavis Beacon. This Dreamcast typing tutorial blows your tiresome tutorial to smithereens.

Extremely fun. And like Bill Cosby used to say, "You just might learn something by the time we're done."

Pushes Seaman out of the top spot for "weirdest game to come out in the US".

Ends up being a quirky gem in the Dreamcast catalog thanks to rock-solid gameplay, great graphics, and a loopy sense of humor. Best of all, players are guaranteed to see improvement in their typing if they log some time into the game.
Planet Dreamcast
If nothing else, Typing of the Dead is kooky, fun and inventive, and a worthwhile addition to any Dreamcast enthusiast’s library. Uh, provided you own one of those keyboards.

Killer zombies, gushing green blood, scary monsters...give it a try and it'll give you the willies.

Without a doubt, this is the most fun you can have while increasing your typing speed. Zombies make good teachers.
