Summary
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare: Mobilized delivers an arsenal of cutting-edge weaponry, vehicles and tactics, arming players with precision controls for battle across the world's most dangerous hotspots. Gamers fight on the ground in intense building-to-building tactical combat, hack into enemy computer terminals, take the controls of military vehicles like Battle Tanks and UAV spy drones, or man the guns of an AC-130 gunship. Call of Duty: Modern Warfare: Mobilized brings the epic Call of Duty intensity of Modern Warfare to Nintendo DS fans through a unique storyline and companion narrative. The title also serves up a bevy of features, including a six-player online multiplayer mode that allows friends to host their own server, as well as the brand new Survival Mode, giving players a variety of weapons to hold off waves of oncoming enemy forces and an expanded six-player online multiplayer mode. Also, Arcade Mode allows gamers to replay the game’s single-player with a time limit and running score, with extra points awarded for specific achievements. [Activision]

One of the most impressive first-person shooters you will play on your Nintendo DS this year. Very few shooters on the DS will cheerfully have you enjoying every second of this game and with enough reasons to keep on playing you should definitely consider buying this one.

Mobilized feels like it is a victim of the developer's past successes. There isn't a whole lot that has changed over the previous year other than the updated time period and matching weaponry.

Considering the excellent single player, the awesome online multiplayer, and the great sound package – Call of Duty Modern Warfare Mobilized is an excellent value for the DS gamer.

To be completely honest, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Mobilized is not a substitute for Modern Warfare 2 on console or PC, the DS just can’t handle such complicated action and intense multiplayer. Instead, Mobilized is just a solid shooter on a console that does not begin to get the FPS action it deserves, and that is what makes it so appealing.

In spite of some flaws, it is undoubtedly an excellent approach to the first-person genre in a portable console.

Mobilized is a technically impressive game that should provide you with plenty of entertainment for a while, and there's also the small matter of online multiplayer for up to six players once you're done. There are some annoying control niggles but if you can get over those you should have fun.

This is one fully featured package and a technically impressive game that successfully takes Call of Duty to the handheld while bringing its own unique presentation to the table.

Although Modern Warfare 2 is obviously superior, it's nice to see that DS owners have a great alternative with Mobilized. The gameplay is fun, and the presentation is jam-packed with excitement.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare - Mobilized is no longer a rough version of a sucess on table consoles.

If you can enjoy a fun, arcade shooter for your DS, Modern Warfare: Mobilized is a fine choice.

A lengthy campaign, extra modes, and multiplayer. In a Call of Duty game. What's not to like?
Whoever had been looking for a very good ego shooter on the DS, has found it. Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Mobilized has to be running on every DS of an adult gamer.

If you absolutely need to play Modern Warfare when you're on the go, well here it is, and it's pretty good. But really... how often will you want to?
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare - Mobilized provides a sharp rise in the difficulty level, forcing the player to face the missions with caution and losing the hustle and involvement trademark of the series. The controls could have been more immediate, while the graphics are still fluid and compelling. The online multiplayer works well.

Call of Duty Mobilized is a fairly good porting. Immediate playability is sometimes ruined by awkward controls (especially zooming issues) and the single player experience won't last long. Multiplayer is not bad, but you'll sometimes have a hard time looking for players. Everyone who loves FPS in the palm of a hand should consider this, despite its little flaws.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare - Mobilized tries to be like his big brothers on the consoles, but doesn’t pull it off completely.

A portable version of the main franchise. Some issues with the control system but a great multiplayer.

Making a shooter for the DS: it’s not an easy task. Mobilized is a fairly enjoyable go at the genre on the handheld that impresses technically. Even the controls work. Still, it begs the question: who wants to play this game on the DS if you can play it on a big screen at home?

Solid and playable but not terribly exciting. [Christmas 2009, p.65]
Game Revolution
Mobilized is an impressive package from a technical standpoint, even though it won’t keep you entertained for that long. But it’s definitely a fun experience while it lasts, assuming you’re a fan of DS first-person shooters. I’d steer clear otherwise — unless, you know, you like drunkenly shooting at pigeons.
Ultimately, Modern Warfare: Mobilized lacks personality and polish. Hardcore Call of Duty portable gamers are better off buying last year's World at War DS.
The four unlockable modes might keep hardcore fans coming back, but I didn’t find much reason to stick around. Challenge and Arcade modes are rewrapped campaign levels, and the Minigame mode features puzzles you’ve already found the solution to in the campaign.

If you’re starved for some FPS love on your DS, you might want to give this game a shot. However, even its predecessor provides a more engaging experience, not to mention a few other notable DS titles, specifically Moon.

Mobilized cannot completely emulate its older brother and should get better at what makes it unique.
I definitely suggest holding off on buying this game, at least until it’s in the $5 bargain bin. You can rent it if you really feel the need to try it out, but even that may be a misappropriation of funds.
It feels like whatever budget this game had was blown on the audio and visuals in the game, leaving the story and design team scrambling with what little finances they had leftover to make a worthwhile game out of it. Unfortunately for them, the game comes up feeling pretty shallow. While I give it props for having an expensive looking sheen, it’s definitely not a noteworthy DS game in any other respect. Do yourself a favor and leave this one to gather dust on the shelves.

Limau 08 gave it a9:
It is an awesome game, story is good but somewhat short which can be excused for being an NDS game. The graphics need to be improved GREATLY. Multiplayer is great all-round.
Jon H. gave it a9:
This is definitely the best CoD yet. 6 people on multiplayer and the great story make it perfect for anyone that loves FPS games.
