Summary
Looney Tunes: Duck Amuck lets players wield the Nintendo DS stylus to irritate, aggravate and infuriate their own Daffy Duck in humorous ways. In the game inspired by the classic Duck Amuck cartoon, players compete against Daffy through a series of mini-games that range from retro inspired favorites to modern, innovative gameplay interactions, with the goal of driving Daffy's temperature, and his temper, through the roof. Duck Amuck also features wireless game play allowing players to not only gang up on Daffy as a team but also battle each other in head-to-head competition. [Warner Bros. Interactive]

Nintendojo
The real charm of the game comes from Daffy's annimated reactions to your meddling, done with such a pitch-perfect style that it would have made the late Chuck Jones proud. [Nov 2007, p.102]
GameZone
I would recommend that everyone experience the brilliant design of this game and the witty dialogue, especially if you're a fan of the cartoon; however, the mini-games (the meat of the game) do not hold up for very long. There is about 2 hours of gameplay in Duck Amuck, and whether that warrants a $30 purchase is up to you.

All things considered, Looney Tunes: Duck Amuck is a solid title that has quite a bit to see.

Where many games tend to stick to well trodden gameplay paths when dealing with well know intellectual property, Duck Amuck is brimming with originality.

It's not really a title to play for extended periods but instead something to dip into for five minutes at a time. [Nov 2007, p.112]
Games Master UK
Almost an interactive cartoon. Excellent, if short lived, entertainment. [Christmas 2007, p.84]
Games Radar (in-house)
You'll enjoy it a lot while it lasts, but it's just a shame there isn't more Daffy here to love.

Despite having all the components for a promising game, this is a complete disappointment. [Feb 2008, p.65]

Interacting with Daffy Duck and watching animated sequences unfold is fun, but there's barely a half-hour's worth of entertainment here.

Looney Tunes: Duck Amuck isn't bad, it's just an idea that wasn't stretched out far enough to cover the space provided in the cartridge.
Ultimately, Duck Amuck succeeds more as an interactive cartoon than it does as a mini-game collection.
This is an excellent case of style dripping over substance and if you can forgive its dire lack of the latter, you're sure to enjoy what laughs you'll get out of it.

Duck Amuck is a title that does its utmost to show (a lot like Rub Rabbits) what the DS can do with all its gimmicks, but it fails to live up to its qualities on the game side.
