IGN
This game is better than Wiffle Ball DS, but it's not much of a step up. Skyworks has embarrassed themselves less with this game than that atrocity. However this is a major league game and as such, 2K games should have put a more able development team behind it.

On the Nintendo DS, Major League Baseball 2K7 is a cruddy-looking, vague approximation of baseball that lacks basic features every sports game should have.

MLB 2K7 is not worth your time and this is definitely one game to avoid.

Tony S. gave it an8:
It is the first decent baseball game for the DS, but the graphics aren't that great. Once you keep trying the game can get interesting and fun.

Eric M. gave it an8:
The graphics are pretty boring but I enjoyed it and am still. To really get used to the timing of the swing you have to play some homerun derbies. But it is fine.

Bill K. gave it a1:
I've tried several times, and I still have not made it through the first inning of a game. It is really that bad. I agree that the menus and graphics are fine. The problem is the gameplay. In terms of gameplay and fun, this is the worst baseball game I've ever played. RBI Baseball for the NES, to give just one example, is vastly superior.

Jetchris O. gave it a7:
At first, I thought the control scheme was inept and not fully tested. However, after a few full games and some practice in the homerun derby, the stylus batting has really grown on me. As far as pitching and fielding are concerned, I recommend put the stylus in the silo and using the buttons and d-pad. Changing pitchers is also a breeze, and is necessary when your hurler tires. The graphics, though not stellar, get the job done. The lower screen shows the more detailed pitcher vs. batter dual, while the upper screen displays the diamond. The audio is passable, with all the basic sounds of the game from the slap of the ball hitting the glove to the crack of the bat as the ball sails into the cheering crowd. Though Major league 2k7 is far from perfect, after a few games in, it all seemed to come together, providing a fun outing for DS owning fans of the ol' ball game. Besides, it's $19.99 price tag is peanuts for a new release these days. Play ball!

Tim B. gave it a4:
The playability of this game is atrocious. The menus look decent and the graphics are passable but the gameplay is no where to be found. I've played the game for less than a day and have already found several bugs.
