The game doesn’t take advantage of the Nintendo DS hardware’s unique capabilities at all. It lacks presentable visuals and a decent combat engine as well.

The unfortunates who decide to rent or buy this game will be stuck with nothing more than a filthy, horribly buggy port of an already middling game.

Easily one of the worst Nintendo DS games released yet. It's extraordinarily hard to see any good in all this bad, and honestly I can't imagine any DS owner working their way through the progression because they're enjoying the clumsy, clunky, chunky, buggy, and most likely unfinished gameplay.

I am sure there are some Gameboy Advance fighters out there that would earn a higher rating when compared side-by-side with this one. As it stands, this game is exactly what its title states, and nothing more: Imperfect.

The game literally falls apart on gameplay. A flurry of punches, kicks, and concentrated moves are lost within the game's miserable reaction time and balance.

Bob G. gave it a10:
Awesome game with cool characters!
Rob O. gave it a9:
In whole this is a sweet two player game, theres cool levels to beat your opponent and an amazingly cool starting off story line as you see the hulk the punisher and cpt america get killed but the 1 player story aint very long.
Teresa C. gave it a10:
The game is not that bad, i mean, it's not Tekken but it's quite entertaining. Lots of stuff to collect, your favorite Marvel characters, original gameplay and good graphics. A must have for fighting game fans with a Nintendo DS.
Dylan S. gave it a9:
This game was entertaining and did not deserve the 3.1 that gamespot gave it. Amazing graphics, fluid character movements and suh-weet finishers made this game fun. I docked a mark because of some crappy grunting on venom, magneto, elektra, and the wink, and the weird drawing of wolverine, but for the most part, this game is a must-buy.
Josh gave it a3:
Good idea bt playing this game i feel like i have limits which is not a good feel when compared to the games we have out now maybe my view would have been better 2 years ago.
Euter gave it a9:
Good gameplay.
