Summary
Ninja Reflex uses a series of martial arts challenges to test gamers' reflexes and measure their reaction times with millisecond precision. Players can also compete for ninja supremacy against their friends in fierce multiplayer battles with up to four players. [Electronic Arts]

n-Revolution Magazine UK
It gets annoyingly repetitive towards the latter stages. [Issue#22, p.87]
Cheat Code Central
The mini-games aren't addictive enough. It's more of a daily exercise for those with enough willpower to follow through.

Ninja Reflex is undeniably attractive and polished, but unfortunately it gives up its secrets far too quickly to be considered good value for money.

Ninja Reflex is a good idea, it’s fun, but there’s less depth here than in games like Mario Party DS. The line needs to be drawn somewhere, and hopefully consumers will do just that with Ninja Reflex.

This game is in the right direction with great style and production values, but ultimately the mini-games are too few and the game mechanics are severely under par – Your reflex should be to save your money.

Ninja Reflex is a fun rental. But if you decide to shell out full price for a collection of repetitive mini-games, you need a lesson in spending, my son.

I fully expected EA to lay it on thick with the clichéd martial arts mumbo jumbo, but aside from oft-repeated comments from the sensei, the ninja theme is thankfully understated, and the clean visuals are more than adequate for the simplistic mechanics.

It's a genuine shame. The game is well-presented and polished, the control system works nicely, and the progression lays the groundwork for a really enjoyable experience - but the team decided to come over all Zen minimalism when it came to the games themselves.

Ninja Reflex only feels like a third of what could have been a fun package. Even the kids will feel short-changed by the overall package, which despite some positives never warrants affiliation with the ninja.

Unfortunately Ninja Reflex consists of only six minigames. Although the minigames have a unique concept, it becomes quite frustrating to play the same minigames over and over again. The lack of variation will make sure everyone will put this game in the closet after an hour of playing.

It's really hard to understand how anyone thought such a meagre selection of mini-games and a lacking single-player component warranted such a high price tag.

Whilst the idea is good and the execution is fine there is literally nothing resembling a game to be had here.
