If you've ever enjoyed a puzzle game, you'll dig it, and when it makes you smarter, just consider that a nice bonus.

Usually, it's a pretty safe bet that a DS version of a Flash game isn't a good deal. However, WordJong has some new features and comes in at a great budget price.

There are no cheesy touch-screen mini-games here either; just solid gameplay. It is the perfect pick-up-and-play title for any book worms this Holiday.

Gaming Nexus

WordJong is a modest game, a simple puzzle game that does only one thing ... but does it very well.

My Gamer

Overall, WordJong is a pretty addictive game. And even though it is a budget title, there is plenty here to keep players word-smithing for a long time.

IGN

The game's got a very addictive nature, and there's a good amount of different modes (including two player battle mode) to keep things interesting. It's just a bit of a bummer that the programmers don't wean certain players (i.e. the older casual crowd) into its gameplay mechanics with a tutorial mode.

What Our Users Said

The average user rating for this game is 9.8 (out of 10) based on 5 User Votes

Donald O'Brien gave it a10:
For a crossword fan, this is an ideal supplement. Good fun, seemingly endless puzzles.

Dallas P. gave it a10:
A perfect puzzle game. If you like Mahjong and Boggle, then this a game you will enjoy. IGN's comment about a lack of a tutorial is a joke as the game is about as simple as you can get anyone can figure it out.

Duckee D. gave it a9:
Quite addictive. However the dictionary is not as extensive as the dictionary found in other games of this genre. Words such as January and June are not valid words. Other than the dictionary size this is a great title.

pP gave it a10:
The best word game on the DS yet! Wow! A lot of options even WiFi Worldwide...I didn't even know it had all these great features!
