Added to the PS2 extras, like the added indonesian jungle level, alternate pathways and mission reports, this is the quintessential version of the game. [Sept 2004, p.73]
GamePro
An outstanding single-player game coupled with an innovative and addictive multiplayer mode makes Pandora Tomorrow one of the premier titles available today on any console. [Sept 2004, p.82]
Game Informer
Fortunately for Nintendo fans, the single-player mode is engaging no matter what console you're playing on, and the story simply can't be beat. [Aug 2004, p.92]

We're basically being screwed from behind while simultaneously being fed the most exquisite cuisine. What a predicament. Oh well... us GameCube owners are used to being screwed, so we may as well just close our eyes and taste the honey.

With a bit of GBA connectivity for a field-map and some extra GBA levels as well as an exclusive GameCube level thats been available to download on the Xbox for a couple of months, we definitely got the shorter end of the stick.

Highly competent. It plays well. It looks good. At times it's intense, and at times it's clever. It entertains through and through by way of smart level design and unique gameplay challenges, as well as atmospheric environments and realistic scenarios.

Cannot be called a great game, not when it treads so closely behind the footsteps of its predecessor. Still, it delivers a highly enjoyable action experience that does a ton of things right and only a few wrong.

The single player mode of SCPT is just as good as the Playstation 2, and some ways between that and the Xbox version.

The environments are richer than those of the previous title. [Sept 2004, p.116]

The fact of the matter is: those of you who own only a GameCube are getting ripped off. For the same price, you could be enjoying a contender for game of the year on that other console.

An enjoyable test of wits that requires strategy, patience, and quick thinking.

If you only own a Gamecube, and dont need online play, Pandora Tomorrow is still recommended but more for a rental than a purchase.

The story is your typical Tom Clancy affair, complete with terrorist threats and biochemical weapons, so dont look for fresh ideas there. The replay value is beaten down by the lack of multiplayer modes and the fairly linear levels.

The worst of the three console versions available, due mainly to the absence of the terrific multiplayer found in the PS2 and Xbox builds. Still, there's enough single-player goodness here to entertain for a bit just don't expect to be blown away.

On the whole I probably enjoyed the first one more, simply because it came first and was a new experience. Some of the levels, though, make up for it, and bring you back to that level of excitement and tension which I don't feel any other game has ever matched.

While it's got a few problems, particularly with the load times, frequent checkpoints, and lack of multiplayer options, Splinter Cell: Pandora Tomorrow is still a good game.

The Xbox version has superior graphics, sound, and control; and the features unique to the Cube are unremarkable. Without multiplayer, Pandora goes from "must-buy" to "solid rental." [Sept 2004, p.108]
Game Chronicles
Everything you loved about the first game is back and better than before. Sams new moves and gadgets are excellent and tightly integrated into the missions so they arent there just for the sake of having something new.

Intermittent AI detection, graphical issues that affect core gameplay and length issues truly diminishes the impressive nature of this game. Whats worse, Gamecube owners are deprived of the multiplayer mode, which extends the value of Pandora Tomorrow greatly.

Playing in the shadows is fun, but the trial-and-error nature of the game is not.

It's difficult to justify the price tag when the single-player campaign offers little lasting value. [Sept 2004, p.84]
GamingTrend
The game is as linear as a meterstick and the graphics aren't showcase quality, so after finishing the eight levels (not 32 as listed on the back of the box) there's no reason to keep this one in your collection.

This version of Pandora Tomorrow was effectively gutted. Not only is it missing the other versions' most exciting feature but--much like the PlayStation 2 version--also it doesn't look nearly as good as its PC and Xbox counterparts.

Joey De A. gave it an 8:
If you liked the first one, then this is a must buy. However, there's just not enough new content to interest those who didn't like the first. Also, only buy the GCN version if that's the only console you own.
Jip B. gave it an 8:
I just don't understand why people rate this game for the Gamecube so low. Okay, so it misses an online feature, but look at what's left of the game. It is a great game with lots of cool gadgets, a good storyline and it has tonns of action in it. So yeah, it doesn't have the online feature (which is great by the way) but it remains a good game. I would recommend this game to anyone who liked the first splintercell game, which didn't have an online feature at all on any console!, and to anyone who enjoys action, stealth and a great storyline.
