Summary
Embrace the role of Alex Rider to out-spy, outwit and out-cool evil. Based on the teen spy movie, Alex Rider: Stormbreaker starring Mickey Rourke, Alicia Silverstone and Ewan McGregor, the video game captures all the excitement and suspense of Anthony Horowitz’s best-selling novel about teenage superspy Alex Rider. Game play includes combat, stealth missions, vehicles and the use of gadgets to achieve mission objectives. Explore Ian Rider's house, the breaker's yard, MI6's secret Liverpool Street headquarters, M16's training facilities and Darius Sayle's complex. Players obtain mission briefings from Mrs. Jones and Alan Blunt before they go undercover, improve their problem-solving skills at M16's top training camp and receive spy gadgets from Smithers to aid them in combat, navigation and unlocking special mini games. If you have to choose, buy the DS version instead. There are better games for the GBA.

Sluggish would not even begin to describe the controls. Moving Alex around is like driving a ten ton dump truck through wet cement in a blizzard.

Wow, this game was not what I thought it would be. The original license wasn't an interesting or original idea and the game sadly follows suit.

It truly is a sad day for the gaming world when a video game reviewer asks his readers to put down the game and read the book instead; you're invariably going to enjoy it more.

Jesse S. gave it a0:
Imagine one of the old, top-down Grand Theft Autos. Now imagine that the main character is replaced with a young teenager and that the police and gang members are replaced with henchmen. Now imagine that any useful weapon is taken away and replaced with a pen and some zit cream. The controls are sluggish and hard to use, the enemy AI is frustrating and very hard; and the gameplay is even worse than that of "barbie's princess & pauper". Any attempt at resembling the book or movie is instantly demolished. Readers, don't buy it. I beg you. It's Atari's "ET" for the Game Boy generation.
