Unless the girls that receive Barbie Groovy Games as a gift are too stupid to notice, Barbie makes only a few brief appearances in the game.

Girly J gave it a 10:
First of all, I would like to say I'm a boy. Now on with the review: So I'm at walmart, all alone, with some loose change, so I go to see if there's any games for a cheap price available for the GBA. I'm looking through the shelf, and the only game I see cheap enough is Barbie Groovy Games. Now, I fiqured I go for it. As I was paying, the women behind the counter was curious as to why I was buying this, considering it's made for girls only, and I tell her it's for my sister birthday. When I get home, I get inside the closet, in case someone comes home early, and play the game. I'm absoultely blown away! I would have never guessed a Barbie game designed for girls was so freaking awesome! I'm really getting into the game, right. Well then I go on the internet to see if there are any more Barbie games like this out there. It turns out, there are. So I grab my wallet, and head out to the mall. But I stop and think, "won't people think it's strange a BOY is buying all these Barbie games?" So I run into my sister's room and pick out a pink dress. I slip it on. Then I put on some makeup, lipstick, and jewery. I also find a purse and it around my arm. I put on a pink hat, and pink high heels, and I'm off to the mall. I picked up two more Barbie games. Then I went inside some stores I never was man enough to go into. Barbie Groovy Games opened up a new world for me.
