Played at leisure, though, this remains a bewitching adventure, and one that true Harry-maniacs will want to return to again and again.

Visually, it's among the best games available on the GBA, with superb animation and attractive environs. [Spring 2003, p.33]
Games Radar UK (Pre-2006)
Looks great and, while it can be a bit easy, the new sneaking skills, Quidditch and card collecting make Hogwarts a fun place to be. [GamesMaster]

Electronic Gaming Monthly
Nearly every aspect of the game impresses, except for the airborne Quidditch matches. [Dec 2002, p.272]

While not as great as the console version, relatively speaking, Chamber of Secrets will certainly keep you interested - for a spell.
GMR Magazine

It tells a good story, and there's a lot to do within the confines of the Harry Potter universe. If you don't really care for the characters, you'll probably find the gameplay repetitive and dull, but then you'd have no reason to play the game anyway.

While Potter fans will enjoy seeing Gilderoy Lockhart on their GBAs, uncompelling gameplay makes him just another pretty face.

Jared C. gave it a10:
Its evenly better than the movie, I didn't have to profind the idea and excellence of the game, it is fantastic from begining to end. I can beat it many times and never get bored of it. As it should, it does flow with the film's and games, J.K. Rowling should be proud of this.
Wayne M. gave it a9:
It's one of the most challenging game that anyone can play. Will keep your interested for hours. But can someone give some codes to help with some of the hard parts?
George S. gave it a 9:
It is a good game but it could be more realistic because if you sneak past someone and then walk through a door they are standing there.but overall it is a good game!
Bo Go gave it a 0:

Owen gave it an 8:
