Lots of fun, but some of the moves were too hard to execute with intention.

If you know what a Kinniku Driver is, you'll enjoy beating the daylights out of people in this game. [Fall 2003, p.56]

Until you get used to the controls, you may be stuck on the first bout. [July 2003, p.146]

If it weren't for the sloppy grappling system, Ultimate Muscle could have been a worthy purchase, especially for fans of the quirky animated series. The bold graphics, battery backup, ability to improve special powers, hidden wrestlers, and versus play are definite pluses.
