Core Magazine
A must-buy for anyone who enjoyed last year's game -- and also anyone looking for an all-around fun game with the power to turn friends into enemies.

Hot Games
With all of these super cool additions, not to mention the fun-as-Swiss-cheese-in-a-can four player mode, this is the best "Blitz" so far.

IGN
The wealth of new features like the extra stadiums, wind effects and play editor still play second banana to the skull crushing gameplay that we loved in last year's game.

An incredible sports game, adding up to one of the best (if not the best) the sports genre has ever seen.

Daily Radar
Compared to the conservative Madden franchise, "Blitz 2000" is the flamboyant "Neon Deion Sanders of football games, and a hell of a lot of fun.

This new edition could have been so much more (and some of its features should have been in the original).

"NFL Blitz 2000" still has a firm lock on the arcade football business.

Keep the same great game play but throw in more innovation next time please.

In terms of options, "Blitz 2000" rests on its laurels, though a four-player simultaneous mode may be enough for die-hards to pick this one up.

It's just the kind of game for people that thought NBA Hangtime, Open Ice, and WWF Arcade were as real as they need in a sports game.

Game Revolution
If you're after a deeper football game or something that you can play alone, getting Blitzed isn't the right choice (the right choice is NFL 2K).

The players look and sound cartoony, with gigantic quadriceps and incredibly deep voices.

CheckOut
Basically, the only real reason to pick up this game is if you did not buy the original or if you simply must have the updated rosters for the 1999-2000 NFL season.

Jeffrey D. gave it a9:
Blitz is an excellent multiplayer game. It brings out your competive side and you have fun at the same time.

Prognosticator gave it a 9:
This is a pretty awesome game overall. I would like to have a create-a-team, or create-a-player option, but this is still a great game. If you don't want realism and fancy no-holds, no-rules chaos that which is referred to as football in this game, you need to check it out.

[Anonymous] gave it a 10:
It's the best game I ever played.
