Da Gameboyz
A must buy.

Antagonist -- Ant.com
One of the best comic book action games ever to hit the PlayStation is just as fun on the Nintendo 64.

Hot Games
This gem of a game is way too short -- the same complaint that PlayStation owners had a while back.

IGN
Spidey's unique abilities such as clinging to walls and swinging like a monkey have been produced perfectly and are so fundamentally addicting themselves that you will play the game for a long time to come.

Nintendojo
The three major knocks that I have against this game are the lack of multiplayer, relatively short game experience and a weirdo camera. Having stated that, this is still a premiere title for the 64 and there's enough here to outshine the faults.

Though the game isn't perfect, it is a wonderful accomplishment on the part of the developers, and it is simply very fun to play.

As Roy Walker might have put it: it's good, but it's not right.

The game really creates the feeling of being Spider-Man like no game before it, and for many Marvel fans, that will be more than enough... Yet many gamers will be dismayed by the finicky camera and formulaic gameplay.

Happy Puppy
This is not a bad game on the whole. If you've got the patience to get through it, and if you can bear with the shabby controls and sometimes maddeningly awkward camera angles, there are plenty of rewards.

CNET Gamecenter
While the graphics certainly aren't horrendous, they lack overall polish.

Daily Radar
We come not to bury Spider-Man, but to lament that more could not be done to make the Nintendo 64 version of the game as sharp as its counterpart.

Game Revolution
While Spider-man for the N64 has some of the snazzy spider's super skills down pat, it falls prey to some boring gameplay design.

Jonathan W. gave it a 7:
This was a good game that surprisingly doesn't get old. It has around 20 levels but no multiplayer. They could've done a co-op mode but they can't do everything. There were a lot of villians missing but you don't notice as much.

Dave S. gave it a 10:
Excellent!
