Gaming Maxx

Simply put, this is the best Turok game yet and second only to "Perfect Dark" as a first person shooter.

"Turok 3" features a grotesque, twisted storyline, as opposed to the more toned down storyline that the original "Turok" had, and it almost seems like they were trying too hard to make the game fit in with other first-person shooters.

You could do a lot worse than re-visiting the first two Turoks and forgetting all about this half-hearted and dispiriting finale to what has been one of the best-loved franchises on the N64. A shame.

Murky, poorly defined graphics, an atrocious frame rate and terrible level design culminate to produce a title almost completely lacking in entertainment value whatsoever. Avoid like the black death.
