Summary
Someone has stolen the golden Bomberman statue, the pride of peaceful Bomberman Town. Bomberman, the town peacekeeper and our hero, set out to find the stolen statue. During his investigation, he met a stranger who seemed a likely suspect for the crime and chased him into a warphole. Now, you must join Bomberman on his journey to recover the stolen statue and restore the symbol of Bomberman Town. It's the world's first wireless multiplayer version of Bomberman, and it'll have you hooked in no time. 8 unique worlds to conquer, each with 5 stages. Original 16-bit graphics still look stylin' on the N-Gage platform. Connect with another game deck using Bluetooth wireless technology and unleash new worlds of multiplayer madness. Fight for the title over five 2-player battle stages. [Nokia]

Outside of just the gameplay, I really liked the style of the characters in this game. They don’t talk or anything, but I enjoyed their design, from Bomberman himself to the different enemies that you face.

Addictive like Heroin! Fans of arcade games will love it, but the more demanding gamer wont find much in the way of creative gameplay to get excited about. Youll either love it or youll hate it.

Visually, Bomberman on N-Gage is a perfect 2D version of the game. Youll see the levels from an overhead camera, which allows you to see much of the level at once. Bomberman is as detailed as hell ever be, and animates fluidly, complete with a shadow.

The type of gameplay experience Bomberman offers is fun and enjoyable, but it's something that most everyone has already played.

The game itself feels a little bare-bones, and a stronger multiplayer component would make it much easier to recommend.

Not a step forward or a step backward for the franchise, but merely stagnation.

The jerky animation and smallish mazes really mess with the game play. This is one of those few times when Bomberman just wasn't fun to me, and I'm a big Bomberman fan.

To me this game feels a tad unfinished especially when I look at the half hearted attempts at making an explosion and an aesthetically pleasing level. The power's there so why not use it.

Holds quite a bit of fun, though nowhere near its entertainment potential. It comes off as a little dusty and archaic.

The lack of comprehensive multiplayer makes this, well, a bomb. The game is decent for a rental, but nothing more.
