Imagine a game that would make "Smokey and the Bandit" look like Gilbert and Sullivan. I know it's difficult to imagine but Big Rigs: Over the Road Racing is so pathetic it makes a sandpaper-and-vinegar enema sound positively delightful. Not that I would know.

If you hate someone, and I mean HATE someone, give them this game as a gift, in the hopes that they’ll play it, because that way you can say to them, “haha, you’re an idiot who plays Big Rigs!” I wish I could think of some redeeming factors for the game, but there simply aren’t any.

So astoundingly bad that it manages to transcend nearly every boundary put forth by some of gaming's absolute worst of the worst and easily makes it into that dubiously extraordinary category of being one of the most atrocious games ever published.

This is hands-down, the worst videogame to ever see the light of day. Really.

Since there are absolutely NO categories that this game can claim to have completed, it gets a 0. In everything. Gameplay is a 0 because those goal you have in the game isn't really a goal. With no competition, and no cargo, it's degenerated into 3D connect the dots. With no clipping, the Graphics score a 0. There's no audio, and with no gameplay, there's no replay. It's an aboslute failure in all departments of what a game should be.

Justin J gave it a0:
This game is a total failure on all fronts. However, I believe it should get a 1. After all, someone spent the time (probably in the area of 5 minutes) to make it.

Tim F gave it a10:
They got something right, and that's creating a game that's so incredibly poorly made that it has the best replay value and comedy of any game. It's amazing how such a bad game can be so bloody fun!

Fraser A gave it a10:
Big Rigs: Over the Road Racing is without a doubt the best video game I have ever played. From the gorgeous graphics to the tenacious and invisible police cars, from the wily opponent truck's AI to the groundbreaking anti-gravity engines, from the open-ended game world to the incredibly realistic ghost-truck physics, this game is a work of impossible genius. Finally, video games have their Citizen Kane, their Casablanca, their Big Momma's House 2, all rolled into one. Bravo, Stellar Stone! Bravo!

Why Not? gave it a0:
Wow. I'm going to review a game without playing it myself -- something it seems lots of people have already done with this game. Where do I begin? Oh, right. The gameplay, or lack thereof. You are driving a truck. A truck that has unlimited acceleration, stops instantly, and clips through any geographical features you can think of. The story? There is none, really. Escaping from the cops? What cops? The graphics? Craptastic. The tracks? Five uninspired piles of crap -- and the best of the lot crashes the game. (I suggest racing on that one every time you play.) And don't get me started on the AI -- actually, I have no place to start on something that's nonexistent. (Although there was that lecture about God... I'm probably going to burn in Hell for that comment.) There is one redeeming quality that saves this from the Donut of Death, however. This game proves that no matter how bad you think a game is, there will always be a game worse than it. I give BROTRR a 1/100. I need to go play Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time to get the taste of a bad game out of my mouth.

Kevin F. gave it a6:
Ok, I would give this game a 0, but it's so bad, SO BAD, it's fun. I doubt there is any other racing game like this one. It's unique. I agree with everyone saying it's terrible, but I give it a 6 for the effort... wait, there wasn't any. The game was released in pre-alpha stage, so of course it's bad, but like I said before, it's fun(ny) You'll laugh when you play this. That's why I gave it a 6. Thanks for reading.

ENOUGH!! gave it a0:
A DISASTER! Now with Wheels! Get ready to waste you money on something that wasn't even coded correctly, bug tested, or even budgeted! but seriously, if you have any decency at all, do not buy this game. If you do buy it, burn it before it can corrupt your computer with its many bugs. It is that bad.

David H gave it a10:
This really is the best game ever made. I dont know why people keep trying to knock it. The physics are so absolutely amazing, its like you're one with the entire Big Rigs universe, the collision detection is so good, its almost like it isnt there in the first place! This game is very hard to master, but once you play it enough, you'll be running circles around your opponents! There is one small downside however. The learning curve is pretty steep. The controls can get a bit irritating at times because they're so realistic. You really get to feel at the raw braking power the semis have, especially when stopping in reverse. Just buy this game guys, it will change your life.
