Summary
(Currently available in the UK/EU only) It is April of the year 1945, the last days of the Second World War. Berlin is under siege, and the empire of the Third Reich is crumbling down. Hitler is hiding in his Führerbunker, knowing full well that he has found himself in a hopeless situation. The highest ranking SS officers decide to execute a very risky plan. The most important personas of the Third Reich are to be evacuated before the Soviet flag is mounted on the Reichstag. The resistance learns of this plan. Use one of the many available vehicles and attack the enemy with even greater force. Cooperate with the resistance movement in order to overcome the Germans. Use the many varied weapons, such as the Luger Parabellum, the Tommy Gun and the MG-42. Fight in ruined cities, factories and offices of the Third Reich on the verge of its collapse. Completing Crimes of War did not give any deep satisfaction, just a slight contentment before I started my next gaming title. Do not expect anything amazing from it, but if you approach it with a light heart and a free schedule, it can idle away some fairly pleasant hours.

Crime of War's kil.-kill-pick up health-kill-kill-pick up ammo gameplay is on the frantic side and it's probably not one for the historians. All the same, it is killing Nazis. [Aug 2008, p.68]
PC Gamer UK
Misdemeanors at worse. Pay the fine and don't do it again. [Aug 2008, p.75]
Eurogamer
The game demands a staggering 5.5GB of your hard drive, yet still requires the disc to play, and still features agonising loading times before each level. Control is stiff, accuracy is inconsistent and the game can't seem to decide if it wants to be a story-driven action game or a mindless arcade fragfest.
