Summary

A 3D naval combat simulation which gives you command of a WWII era destroyer in the US Navy in either the Atlantic or Pacific Theaters. You will stalk U-boats, swat Kamikaze planes, escort convoys, blast enemy ships in surface actions or pound the beaches in support of infantry landings. [Ubi Soft]

IGN

Don't let the dearth of submarine sims fool you into trying this one unless it's part of a ransom demand and then only if you really like the person who's being ransomed.

Armchair Empire

There are bugs and crashes to contend with, the crossover with Silent Hunter II is non-existent, and the learning curve will leave you panting if you’re new to the simulation scene.

The incredibly stupid AI is also a big problem since it is hard to overlook the mechanical flaws when the gameplay is only moderately engaging.

GameSpot

Sometimes software is released in such a wretched state that the developers may as well just come to your house and kick your dog for $40...This is a blatant and insulting instance of a game released too early to the detriment of the people who buy it.
