Summary
Enemy Engaged 2 is the sequel to the best selling chopper classic, "Enemy Engaged: RAH-66 Comanche Versus Ka-52 Hokum". Enemy Engaged 2 is set to take the series even further with new dynamic missions and a complete overhaul of graphics and audio that bring the game up to date with the latest and best flight simulations available. Modern helicopter combat simulation with realistic flight physics. Three exciting theaters of war with two opposing campaigns each. Dynamic real-time battlefields. No linear mission plot or predefined unit behavior. Over 30,000 square kilometers of flying area over Lebanon, Taiwan and Korea. Diverse combat environments executed in lush 3D detail under a wide range of weather conditions. Over 1,200 very detailed and blue-print precise vehicles, chosen from among proven classics in actual use in armed forces around the globe. Use immersive voice control to command your gunner and wingman. [Strategy First Inc.]

An excellent though rather bland-looking 'copter combat sim. [Sept 2007, p.56]
Pelit (Finland)
Not a bad game, but cannot beat the original EECH combined with latest free community mods. I hoped for more changes to flight and systems modelling and AI, but instead we got some trees and invisible objects to crash into. [Aug 2007]
GameSpot
A once-great helicopter combat sim is still pretty good, if you don't mind the déjà vu.

Enemy Engaged 2 has potenttial, but remains a patch or two away from completion. [Nov 2007, p.77]
GameShark
The critical flaw made by the developers however was in not paying close enough attention to their community, and realizing that in order to create a worthwhile sequel, they’d have to do more than just update the graphics and add a couple of features, which ultimately means that there’s little point to picking up Enemy Engaged 2 unless you’re new to the series.

Enemy Engaged 2 has some serious problems but they do not make the game unplayable, just detract from your enjoyment. The graphics and visual effects of a bleak terrain do not help the game out but the great open style of mission setup add greatly to the look and feel of a real battlefield.

This is not the most convincing military sim ever, but it's a good approximation of grinding boredom followed by sudden death - and a virtually unplayable game. [Aug 2007, p.86]
Strategy Informer
Just prepare to be very forgiving of the show stopping bugs and flaws that the game contains.

That [50] down there is starting to look a bit mean isn't it? It would be if EE2 wasn't buggier than a shrew's breakfast and outgunned by a better, cheaper, alternative.

For anyone who hasn't already got a helicopter license though, playing Enemy Engaged 2 is about as much fun as eating a pair of sheep's testicles. Yum. [Sept 2007, p.84]
GamerNode
Trust me, this game fails in about every category imaginable. Take your money and throw it out the window. Watching the dollar bills flutter away is closer to flying a helicopter than playing this game.

Jay L. gave it a7:
This was unplayable for me with my old gen video card but since upgrading to a ATI 1650 pro, I'll give this title a strong 7 for the best helo sim we've had since the original Enemy Engaged. Graphically the game is really lacking. BUT there are trees and foliage in this sim! They are great duck and cover clusters and the controls with my CH throttle and Joystick have been excellent. Granted, as others have said here about controls, you DO have to set them up EVERYTIME you boot up the game. Overall, I’m liking this sim a lot, flaws and all. If you have over expectations or a pre-shader model 2 generation video card you’ll not be getting the most from this sim.
Frank K. gave it a3:
My graphics look awesome (I have evga 8800 DX10 card) when the game doesn't crash on me. Joystick setup is lacking horribly (the manual just quickly says to use your joystick drivers to set up your joystick) and the TrackIR suffers from keeping up with your head movement nomatter how you adjust the TrackIR software to compensate for it. I am deeply concerned that the developers are going to run with the money they make onthe release becasue this could definitely be the pinnacle of great sims inline with IL2 but for helicopters. Man I preorder this game over a month in advance hoping it would be the game to really show off my new DX 10 card and 24 inch widescreen monitor and half the time I run the game it crashes.
Der M. gave it a1:
Ugly Graphics, many times worse like in the intro-trailer and bad configuring of controls. My System meets all requirements and it is lacking.
Bard B. gave it a0:
Constant crashing, Dodgy trackir support and an interface that won't let you configure controls properly make this game not worth purchasing. From what was said prior to release by the devs this looks to be a simple case of grabbing the money. I wouldn't be suprised if they run with it. IF it is patch it COULD be bloody awesome - but right now it epitomizes what is wrong with the combat sim industry.
