It is a beautiful thing when a game seems to pull all the right strings. The cars are absolutely stunning and the way they handle makes each of them feel unique. Driving has rarely felt so good. [Nov 2005]

GT Legends deftly accelerates its way to the front of the pack as the prettiest and most personality-rich racing experience the PC has ever seen. [Jan 2005, p.108]

Fans of Grand Prix Legends will love it, fans of GTR will love it and we reckon it's just possible that a host of newcomers could also be taken in by the thrill of driving the car you spent your youth pining for. [PC Zone]

Operation Sports
One of the best PC racers available to date. The physics engine just feels right no matter what difficulty you play on, it looks drop-dead gorgeous, and it has stable online play.

Worth Playing
When all is said and done, all I have left to claim is that GT Legends is the single best racing game I've personally ever played. Bold words, I know, but I truly feel that way.

There are certainly a few things that could be improved, but they are minimal when you consider the overall quality of the experience that surrounds them. Gentlemen, start your engines!

Boomtown
The online mode is not entirely satisfactory, and even has specific graphical errors such as a lack of shadows underneath the cars, and this mars the general picture a bit. And the graphical performance on certain tracks should perhaps also have been optimised.

Edge Magazine
It?s still a hardcore sim at heart ? forgiving lower difficulties, sexy day/night effects and emotive cars aside ? and those that rush in may miss the point. But explore and savour each passionately sculpted track and car, either solo or in the 16-player online mode, and there are few games to touch it. [Nov 2005, p.111]

When the offline experience is so rich, moaning about the fact that Simbin have capped multiplayer at sixteen is slightly uncharitable.

The enthusiast shall probably enjoy the 60?s twist, but others should look past, as there are too many others in the genre to pass by in order to reach out for GT Legends.

There's an odd balance of atypical race cars and super accessible gameplay in GT Legends, but it's a successful one. [Jun 2006, p.67]

Kristof H. gave it a10:
I'm already playing this one for 2 years and it's still my favorite sim game despite the releases of newer games like GTR2, rFactor or even RACE07.

Dazza R. gave it a10:
Maybe not as many cars as games such as GT3, but by far more detail and internal car views that look the real deal. Throw in the most realistic engine sounds ever and this is as close as I'll get to driving one of those classic motors of yore.

Dan D. gave it a10:
The game is excellent. For real racesim fans like me, it beats the king of all sims, Grand Prix Legends. It's better than GTR and right now, our league prefers it to rFactor. That makes #1. The great thing about it is that the AI is so good. If you have no interest in a league, you won't be missing out on much if you just play the career through. I recommend a great FF wheel, one of the Logitech Momos or the DFP.

Matthias gave it a10:
If you're a ture sim fan or just a die hard racing fan this is the game you need to get. The feel and looks and the sounds are but ture to life, only thing missing would be the feeling of the geforces as you slid around corners and jam on the breaks at the last possible moment. This is a ture racing game and I supsect it will be a big hit when it it released in the US next year. Its not the same old half arse junk like EA puts out there!

Howard L. gave it a10:
Excellent feel of the cars. Excellent graphics and and an excellent racing experience. Overall, you guessed it. Excellent!

Johnny B. gave it a10:
Genius. Beautiful driving feel, challenging tracks, lots of variety with the cars, they all feel and handle differently. This is a proper simulation if you want it to be (which I do). Looks and sounds gorgeous as well. Buy it and learn to drive for real.
