Exciting, fun, addictive - Counter-Strike is an awesome game, but I'd recommend buying Half-Life Game of the Year Edition then simply downloading CS rather than purchasing this more limited release.

The game [CS1.6] truly is a legandary game on its own, supassing countless games in the highs and lows and still to this day maintaining high popularitie and continueing to grow more and more. this is byfar the BEST fps game i have played. for it era and time when developed, the graphics, gameplay and overall design is AWESOME....this is one game to be proud of no doubt if you enjoy a true fps game this is it....need i say more..buy it get it enjoy it !!!! -Maverick user since 1998

I remember my friends asking me to come to a computer cafe to play Counter Strike. I never really knew what Counter Strike was, but from what they'd told me, it sounded godly. So I came with them, and 1 month later, I'm in steam BUYING it and loving it. To all idiots who think CS sucks, You suck. Counter Strike offers gameplay which requires a bit of skill and knowledge of recoil for each gun. Telling you not to shoot too much and shoot your gun steadily. You may suck at the first time you play, but it's part of the game, your never good automatically, you have to GET GOOD. The only thing i disliked about Counter Strike are the hackers and cheaters, but it's a rare chance to see them, and the AWP Magnum sniper being so strong but expensive. The game offers a large variety of maps, guns, and if your sick of that, there are tons of Modded maps, Skins, and Mods for the game like Zombie Mod, Surfing, Jail Break, and even Deathmatchs.

This game is very addictive, for sure many agree with me. This is a very good game, is one of the best games in first person shooting. This game is very good, this is guaranteed. But this game and many others have always a disadvantage that I hate, are cheating. If it were possible to set up the game and then it would be impossible to use cheats. So it would be simply a wonderful game, without cheats, and so could be seen the true leets, which are often leets are not cheaters and get ban without doing anything. So if a person had to play it was guaranteed that it was not cheat, because it would be impossible to use cheats. And so the game would be better without cheats or noobs calling cheaters to people without cheats..

One of the best first person shooters of all time. This game has survived the ages, despite Condition Zero and Source being released. Competitive and casual play never get old. Easily my most played games ever.

I give him(her) this punctuation. I do not give him(her) 10 because it(he,she) has bad(wrong) graphs in any sides, and it does not please me of the multi-player's video games. But only because of it, the majority of the game is excellent. But what happens(passes) is that there are to some servers that appear and have a great ping, and is too much. Sera because we are from another Country? Because they have told my me that if you belong to another country and another player to other one, one will have a high ping and other one a low ping. It is the only(unique) thing that it is necessary to arrange in this game and serious perfectly. This one is my commentary. =) Look, this use a traductor: Spanish to English xD
